General Contracting

As the General Contractor, Fargo Group will:
- Conduct feasibility analysis and project due diligence
- Review design with architect for constructability
- Establish project’s core objectives and value engineer, if necessary, to accomplish objectives
- Create preliminary project budget and schedule
- Coordinate all RFPs and selection of architects, engineers, suppliers and professional consultants
- Coordinate RFP and bidding process with subcontractors
- Define construction scopes
- Prepare and negotiate contracts for consultants and sub-contractors
- Manage pre-planning of certifications, e.g., LEED & WELL
- Manage all construction (supervise subcontractors) including safety, change orders and trade coordination
- Monitor project financials and prepare regular reports
- Oversee and work with consultants on execution, e.g., furniture or audiovisual installation
- Account for construction costs against budget
- Create, monitor and execute punch list
- Conduct field reviews to observe completed space and outstanding punch list
- Ensure functionality of space as intended by design
- Review final financials with client and payments/hold backs
- Issue relevant project information for close-out.
